well... i and others have spent countless hours on trying to find the electrical connections on this unit.looked high and low and everywhere between! and i finaly figured it out...

spent hrs looking at the photos only to find out these were off the shelf parts... hahaha...  KISS!!!!  i love it!

Im not telling you just yet what these are... going to make a video... (not done yet)

check it out! we are replicating right??? lol well... hows this! :

i was stoked when i found out what these were... could not believe it... hahaha

Blessings to all !
~Russ
Fantastic find!!!!
This is great, looking for them for over a year too!
:cool::D

Br,
Webmug
sad thing is to buy all the parts theses will cost you about 2-8 USD per piece when complete... so your looking at 40-160 USD for the set of 20... 10 cells...

i bought some stuff on line for much cheeper than locally... so one part is around 1.10 usd and i got them off line for .11 usd... huge difference! i'm sitting at about  2usd per piece but with all the extra or min order stuff I'm at about 80$ for all the parts with shipping... egh!

then i had to drill and make each one... hahah time time... you be surprised what these are... ill give you a hint. there are 5 pieces of off the shelf parts in each connecter! :) crazy!

i would randomly look for these like every 2-3 weeks lol... then i have some friends go on a mission to find them! came back with a bunch of online links and stuff but just no where could one find them...   now i know why... :) HINT... There home made...

i will post the list of the parts when i'm done! :)

Blessings! ~Russ
Ok here is my best guess:
1 - O ring
1 - Spring
1 - Socket Cap flange head screw (allen), drilled for spring.
1 - Hex head screw, sized to fit the head inside allen screw.
1 - nylon locking nut for hex head screw

I'm guessing but are the screws soldered together?

 I think we should support Travis to boost up drawing skills and try and match file to CNC routing file formats.

It could take the drawing work which is being done on 11 cell
full mass product stage.  Much faster.

We have to step back and look at ourselves if e hand make ok, but if we approach large
cnc factory
with " old school tech drawings , it delays things.

I am not familiar with industry but ,

I am sue they want things that plug straight into mills
lathes and routers these days.

Food for thought:huh:

Greetings folks, there is a image that had had me scratching my head for a while now so I thought I would just ask.
here goes wish I could paste pic here but not allowed. Anyways in Stans pic of his WFC there are 5 terminals with red wires going into the side in a row. top to bottom. what are they for? My guess is sensors of some sort possibly for water level? I have been doing so much reading lately that my eyes are starting to cross and maybe I just missed it in his patent.
thanks Steve

Thanks Steve, were all here to help one another, and we were all the new guy at one time or another as well, so don't feel left out, or hesitate to ask a question, someone here will most likely have the answer and remember the only dumb question is one that was not asked, so there are no dumb questions, Jeff.:D

Do you have finished units for sale?

Are you willing to provide the actual CAD files so that we might build one of these units?

Would you be willing to work with us (in a collaborative fashion) on a project?

Respectfully,
Carey

please note Dan that the 3d printed parts should not be used as final parts. this is just merrily my way to work around it for now...

Sure know that it is more to get the thing in people hands , physical always makes things happen.

even if plastic prototypes,  today we need to egt people playing and attempting thing.
today if could be 3d pastics,
tomorrow it could be 3d hybribe metals

lets get the knowledge out there and people playing with even basic design in plastic to use for machiners, save a whole lot of talking and comunicating

it all goes to new ground where stand  stopped,
now every one can print a inject example if we post part in 3d print files, from that they can get even novice machines working on it

and measuring etc etc

all new ground lets get it out there even further

if time prevents more hand on
or current skills is whipping out 3d printer model files and converted files
lets get happening and that out there.
all will support with trying to get printer and machiner goings.

sorry just think it is a chance to something new

Russ why do you always post the link to 3d injector?I was asking for skp files for long time ago,do you have them or not?does not meather if they fit in real world but just to see how they come together virtualy, thanks!

The original files that BAM5 created are not done in Google Sketchup.  He used AutoDesk Inventor, which are .IPT files.  I attempted to convert the .STL file that was exported from the .IPT files, into Sketchup here:

Beware the scaling is off.

I think we all talking about ''Stan's Original 11 cell Resonant cavity Sketch '' that Russ created a clip with skp files on how it asembles/disasemble...i saw the injector skp for a long time is very well done...thanks...

hello everyone!

I'm starting this thread as we will be replicating Stan's Original 11 cell Resonant cavity.

I'm sketching this up in Google sketchup for now but will be drawn up in CAD so any one can run the drawings down to the machine shop and have them made. or if your Nate of Jeff just go print one out... lol

the Google sketch is really to give people a visual as to how this cell was built. the snapshots are in clear so you can see the inner workings. the original plastic is delrin. and that is what we will be making it from.

here are some snap shots so far. i will upload the SCH file once its further complete. then you can get a real 3D view for free by using Google sketchup! yeah!

Thanks for the support!

all comments or questions are welcome!

~Russ

here are the original files if you'd like to give it a go for your self!
