I’m finally having some success with printing ABS.  I was down to one working printer and I tried to print an ABS extruder, when my PLA X carriage melted! lol Ooops I forgot I made it out of PLA.  So now I just finished building a "RepStrap" X carriage out of extruded aluminium stock.  It works really well so far.

Too you should print out the wades hinged extruder, it's stronger and much easier to change the filament. Use the body of this one.
