Hi Earl yes it is just continuous steps getting closer

only question is this one

Change                                                                        (not) ?
gfb extended  No only goes to Matrix  Line to it should go to pin 3 as the line is FD.B.S

picture for this one

Pin 1 is from the Gas Feed Back  Card signal matrix  to Vic in G

Pin 3  is the feed back coil from transformer  vic into vic pcb the extended screw terminal
just looking at your 2 lines trying to decipher the mistake

Summary so does that comment you made confirms and means 2 separate lines  and i will fix so
if otherwise let me know

[G] and gas feed back are 2 separate items - I believe the way you have the in board above is almost correct.

Problem in lower left of VIC is you landed Feed Back coil line on pin 1 instead of pin 3.  At least that what I saw when I follow the trace from feedback pad in daughter board area.   Part of confusion is the Feed Back coil  line on VIC was routed wrong and we fixed that. But coil feedback must go to pin 3 for the feed back circuit to work.  Yellow line meant remove that part of line and red line add to Pin 3

[G] is the reference sync frequency from K2

The Gas Feed Back line on Pin 1 of the VIC card has to an analog signal like [J] as I believe it used to increase gas production.  It can do that by providing a [J] type signal at a higher voltage. If you look at figure 11 (Gas Feed Back schematic) on the right side just above [K] there is an unlabeled output.  I think that is the Gas Feed Line output my guess (but is an educated guess base on way Stan did his schematics)

You have it connected to [6]  I think that is wrong as [6] come from K8 the Analog Voltage Generator.  I believe [6] is the reference signal that is used to create the Gas Feed Back signal at the correct frequency.  Having not looked at the gas feed card in detail I can not tell you what output pin is being used.

The above is based on things I have read.   There are 2 way to increase gas production.
1)  Increase the gate size (I believe that is what the digital means card does and I also believe that output goes is to K3 the gate generator as there is are chips on K3 to do that saw that when I was looking at Gerber for K3)
2)  Increase the voltage level of the analog signal ( I believe that is what the Gas Feed Back card does and it send that signal to Pin1 on the VIC into the additional 741 on the bottom left of the VIC board.  At least that is what others have said about why that 741 was added to VIC board)

Hope this helps but it may mean we need to land Gas Feed Back signal on a different pin on the GAS FEED BACK Board.

I think the Gerber for the Gas Feed back board is in here looking as I have schematic I should be able to figure out what pin it goes to.

By the way you can see most all the connection signals on the large sheet with all the schematics connected.  But the Gas Feed connection is NOT shown.  This is a another case where schematics predate what's on the actual cards.

Sorry for long explanation my wife says it because I am an engineer.

I just took a look at Gerber of Gas Feed Back and my guess it is it is the [11/12 output] but that would only be true if board board automatically request more gas as well as shut down cell if pressure to high.  I do not know enough about the board to say if this is correct.

If this is correct fix is easy just land line on this output instead of [6] which is label VIC analog voltage input

Dan,

While testing patch I also tested to see what would happen to signal the way Anal/Freq switch is wired as it bothered me that [H] goes to center pin which means it is always connected.  Problem is when switch selects either Pri S or Pri H it is still connected which means it is also connected to primary.  Did not do much to digital signal but wiped out analog part of analog signal.

Attached document show actually routing of [H] based on pictures of Stan's board.  Looks like it should not be connected to anything. I will also post picture here showing what I mean.   Based of those pictures [H] go SW2 pad near center of board but that is not connected to anything. Fix is to remove part of the trace on your VIC board.  I also show where that can be done.
