Dual Wheel
A dual wheel trigger is one where there is a primary multi-tooth wheel combined with a secondary single pulse to provide location information.

The primary input should contain no missing teeth.

Both pulses can run at either cam or crank speed, but sequential operations requires that the secondary pulse is located on the cam.

The design of the secondary trigger can vary

(Eg a single short tooth, half-moon wheel etc), provided it only provides a single pulse per revolution.

As with other arbitrary tooth count wheels, the number of teeth must evenly divide into 360 (or 720 if running at cam speed).

Tooth #1 is defined to be the first tooth on the primary wheel AFTER the pulse on the secondary wheel.

Applications

Dual wheel triggers are standard fitment on a number of Euro make cars, particularly those from VW and Audi.

They are also a popular aftermarket fitment due to their simplicity and ease of fitment.

Tuner Studio Configuration
Fields:

Primary base teeth: This is the number of teeth on the primary input wheel. If the primary wheel is located on the cam (or is otherwise running at cam speed), divide it's teeth by two for this setting

Trigger Angle: This is the angle in crank degrees AFTER TDC (ATDC) of the first tooth on the primary input, following the single pulse on the secondary input.

Trigger edge: Whether the trigger will be taken from the leading (rising) or trailing (falling) edge of the primary input

Secondary trigger edge: As above, but for the secondary input

Re-sync every cycle: Whether the system will reset the sync level every time the secondary input is seen. This can be useful for noisy crank triggers that otherwise my lose sync permanently and not recover until a restart.

Timing Setting
The trigger angle can be found by placing the engine at TDC, then calculating how far it must be rotated until the first primary tooth after the secondary pulse.

Sequential operation
The missing tooth decoder supports sequential operation if the secondary input is running at cam speed.

If Sequential mode is selected for either the fuel timing or spark timing, the system will expect that the secondary input is running at cam speed and will only provide half the output pulses if this is not the case.

This cam signal should take the form of a single pulse every complete cycle.

This can be a short tooth or a half moon type arrangement, provided that electrically there is only a single rising (or falling) pulse per cycle.

In Stans

Application he is using the Dual wheels to syn the firing of the Solenoids gates and the injectors  with a slight leading edge offset

the  O out of k2 is going to the k10 and charging the Bobbin the trigger of which is the distributor rotation

it is my belief the car is positive earth and the pulse out of coils is a negative spike vie distributor

Stanley A Meyer Injector Card
We think this description is close to correct
if we have a Timing signal in from Distributor card that this circuit will
recieve into the blue clock in   this card adjusts timing further to on of Solenoids

The OUtput it will give is 0 - 1 to injector on off? only no frequency adjust and no voltage level adjust

if push test switch /or it is pressed  it will remain dis connected that is a test fire of solenoid
if we press it will send out a signal with out clock in  from Distributor card
it is a by bass with out engine running to test the solenoid Waterfuel Gate.

IF MORE TO ADD  ON PIN IN /OUT OR BETTER DESCRIPTION POST HERE OR PM

possible distributor flow of timings

from distributor to the distributor cards to injector cards in series

and possible distributor cards and injector cards or in parallel

find which line into distributor card and injector card is the triggers from the discs
we have 2 disc with optic  triggers
once we know that we can work on next step as several ways will work,

the Distributor card is handling 2 section per card
and we have 1 injector per  injector ) either handling spark or solenoid signal
==================================

example is 1 vic round to center of distributor and also option 1 round vic per injector

Making a Mini Main Board for the Injector Cards  and Distributor Cards

so we can convert to db 37 and  get the interconnect
Theory done for remainder of gms and inject controls

All comments , effort to aid this process
and notes welcomed

Pic is Draft to Get it started

Thank you Alex ,
we can 4 sure focus on posting the schematics from remaining boards
the mappings and final main board gms schematic pages if we study together and post .

it is from distributors to distributor cards
to   injector offsets and spark triggers, driagram

above in thread we layout the main board ready to put traces on
I think those cards and mappings  pages are in folders

if not
please try you  level best as trace mud map
from card pins distributors distributor cards  and injector card mappings
