Post your PMBO final entry's here. remember no more than 3 min is allowed (  video length not including the 30 second intro video if you chose to include it in your entry, you can find the intro video HERE

Good Luck!

Hi everyone,

PMBO 2014 - First Entry,
The Flux Gate Generator setup has been completely modified for the PMBO so that i do have a entry that does run with far less input and far better output...^^
For them judges...since i'm running the DC motor with a PWM i don't know if that's against the rules or not but if that's that case than you may disqualify it...it's no problemo...;-)
At the end of video are 3 pictures...;-)
Good luck everyone and remember to have fun...having fun and learning at the same time is of much more importance than to win... :excited: :clap2:

Hi everyone,

PMBO 2014 - Second Entry,
This is my second entry just in case the first one gets disqualified since i'm being lazy and running the DC motor with a PWM...lol... :P
At the 2.29 min mark it sound like i said "max of 200ma" but i said "max to 100ma" but since i talk funny it sounded like 200ma...lol
At the end of video are 3 pictures...;-)
Good luck everyone and remember to have fun...having fun and learning at the same time is of much more importance than to win... :excited: :clap2:

Quick test post ...currently working hard to finish. cheers
Hey mate,
You can do this, if i was anywhere near you i would drop by to help you out... :earthhug:
I only ask for a few things...a nice lab coat as yours to wear and a slice of cake and hot choco... :giggle: :excited:

Looking good everyone...keep it up... :cheerleader:

Hi all,

Some years ago i tried to make a magnetic-motor
but all the results were negative.
Inspired by the pulsemotor challenge i took (much too late),
the rotor that was left, out of the garage.
Well i didn`t a great job like other people did here,
but i send this because i was amazed that i got
the rotor running with so less components.
Just a battery, a cheap coil, and a reed-switch.
First i used a power-supply, but today I took
an old battery (12V) that i hadn`t used for more
than one year. When i started the power was
very low, but it seemed that the system was
helping the battery to raise power.
It`s too short time to do some tests, what is better...
I had it running with and without a fly-back diode(LED).
Anyway, i hope i inspire other people to do tests with the
system. (It`s not new, many other people did it before)
Maybe it`s the road to free-energy...
Regards Alberto.

Update: After running 24h voltage has gone down to 9,75V :(

FSRD PMBO Entry Video...

My video has been uploading to YouTube from my phone so I don't have a link to it yet.

I was unable to finish it I didn't have much time and have been waiting for parts to get here some still haven,t arrived but this is what I have. I will post a video of the completed design as soon as it is complete.

As soon s I have the link I'll post the link to the entry video.

hey all...good to see some 'out of the box' stuff out there!

i didnt include power measurements in my video. sorry, i was in rough shape and couldnt pull it off in under 3 minutes....haha! quite a few things came up during the build that i want to go back and look at again....one for sure being the efficiency of these air-core (plastic tube core?!) coils that are driving the HV transformer.
my apologies to anyone genuinely interested in the hho / faraday cage build. i am interested as well, but wanted something that somewhat functioned to enter.

measurements are taken with leds removed from the generator coils.

input voltage: 19.8v
input current (2 oscillating coils): 108mA
input current (all six drive coils+sensors): 550mA

output voltage: (2 oscillating coils): 10.6v
output current: (2 oscillating coils): 120mA

output voltage: (all six drive coils+sensors): 12.05v
output current: (all six drive coils+sensors): 135mA

Hi All,

This is my radial pulse motor generator entry.
3 minutes is short time to talk about this motor, but they are the rules.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bWRBHvb6mM#ws

Spec:
Radial Pulse Engine/motor/generator
Input 12v@3a max (motor input), stall load 56w
Input 9v@ 40ma (micro controllers)
8 coils 24 gauge at 100 ft each (2.567ohms)
PWM speed controller
1 Arduino 2560 mega
ECM reading/controls
Rotational 5 degree steps (72 steps per complete rotation)
Control firing power stoke on each piston coil 0deg(TDC) to 180deg(BDC)
8 led piston firing lights
RPM reading (0- 3600)
Output:
BEMF collector from 8 coils

Good luck to everyone, some real good builds out there :cheerleader:
