Now that has some potential to be really useful.  Much easier (and faster) than typical digitizing.

Certainly much easier than with lasers and a camcorder isn't it? I think the hardware costs anywhere from 150 to 200 dollars but the software (or is it frimware?) is free. I couldn't get much of an idea of what the resolution was could you?

That is cool Joe, I have seen something similar but like you say no laser.
