Hi Jeff, all, I was asked to create a thread to add some ideas for testing by people who can do these experiments in there spare time. All my fun stuff was lost to Sandy and the Atlantic ocean. I even lost my negative ion generators. All my experimental stuff, along with my gemstone collection. Well enough about me. When i was at my friends house he had a book that i was browsing through. I found some information on plasma, and the advancement of these ideas to solid circuit. I copied a couple paragraphs and it may give some idea of extracting energy from a plasma type discharge, like the plasma-tron device. or even the popper.

Experiments, Ideas, Testing, circuits. Plasma-tron device.

" from the book. Of course the maximum draw cannot exceed the charge furnished to the plates each second by the plasma beam. The voltage generated by the device would be regulated by the beam intensity, and the capacitance of the circuit connected to the plates. As you see the energy in the extremely hot plasma beam can be converted directly to electrical energy."

What was described is 2 metal plates, and a beam hitting these plates. the energy is directly converted from the plates. I think the rarefaction of air, or other nobel gases would cause the energy extracted  from the plates to be higher then the furnished charge. 5 to 10 times COP. If the correct voltages, and frequencies could be maintained.

Please add the Lawton circuits here Jeff.  Perhaps you can make a kit for people who do not know how to do that type of work.

Please add ideas not specific to the Popper, but  may help in creating the extraction circuits for devices like the plasma-tron, or other plasma beam type ideas AKA popper.

Peace all .:angel::cool::heart:

in movie 1 i see sharp points.

this very thin conductor appears  to be in several sections.
on one end a voltage source of high pulse rate. the plasma beam material becomes a conductor all together.
it looks like the action of wave form is on the conductors inside the tube.

Maxwell describes this in the page below.   were should i go from here Jeff?
cheers..

Hi freethisone, so sorry to hear you lost everything because of Sandy, I hope that you are recovering well. What an ordeal that must have been and still is for many and I am sure for you as well. Freethisone, I know it's just seems like words :blush:, and wish I could help in some way other than words, for I am not able to at this time :blush:, but, I want to say, I wish you and yours the very best and let you know you have many friends here and thank you for being part of this forum. Jeff.

Very fine freethisone. Where should you go from here, where ever your heart will lead you, thanks, Jeff.:cool::D:P

ok then, how about a phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt rang? hehhe.
I am watching terminator, and i was like watt?  perhaps they mean  to say in the 40 Hz, 40 mega hertz, or 40 gigahertz range..

I saw the thread on the bell ringer 3.0, incredible stuff. I think you have almost everything needed now.  Lawton circuit, bell ringer, and  Arduino. only thing missing is?

we will figure it out because open source is the best..

Peace all. Happy Thanksgiving Every-body..
