The Transistor is a H1061 as seen here
http://laserhacker.com/SuperJouleRinger.html

SO...  I have all the parts except for the transistor. This transistor is very difficult to find. I did find this US supplier, but they want $40 to ship to canada. So I am looking for someone in the US that would like to order some with me and split the cost. I don't know the shipping price to US but i think there is much cheaper option.

Hey buddy did you end up getting some. You should have let me know. Did you try the others that were suggested?

Hey guys, Got my super joule ringer working. Im not exactly sure how to test its efficiency yet. if anyone has any suggestion that would be great.

I  did want to get some of the replacement chips to see if they work as well.

Hey KevinW just wanted to know how many turns are the Primary an Secondary windings of your Joule Ringer Overdrive?..Is your  ferrite Transformer is an Exact replication of Laser Hacker?? Does it rings as loud as his one which is noisy an Irritating?? LOL

I followed the winding directions in the video on my first post. The connection i made was i little different, see the schematics edit that i made.

The thing runs pretty quiet, if i stick in a incandescent on there it starts to squeal a little buy not like in his video.

There are two sets of coils on the inside primary, they are wound side by side. I am only using one of the wires. I was also able to connect both of them in series and get it to work as well

This kinda looks to good to be true.
This circuit is then basically capable of recharging standard alkaline batteries, something I thought was...........impossible?
Anyway, the circuit is so versatile it's a must have, gonna make one and have some fun :D
Thanks for sharing :)

Talk about Joule thief :D

I guess the power companies will have hell on Earth trying to find out where the losses are, that is the losses
that which are about to to emerge all over the power distribution lines

Thanks for sharing!

If you want to see a neat variation of the Joule Thief, have a look at:
http://teslatronix.com/

Also Allan's page at:
http://www.pureenergyblog.com/2013/04/26/915/teslatronix-tesla-power-for-the-masses/

I'm still curious...   If you can light up many florescent bulbs with this thing using minimal power, how would you instead snag the power these bulbs are receiving and do a little input to output power comparison test.  I'm wonder if there is some overunity to be had here.  He states he is lighting up five 27w bulbs from just 15 volts at 1/4 amp, so based just on that data, he is getting a boost from the environment.

greetings, hey this is some good stuff you got here.

i was thinking about putting together a theory on these oscillators.

i found a guy is name is slayer.. he was nice enough to share. even though someone has been claiming his circuits as there own.
so i am going to comment on these circuits, and make some comparisons. Theory why do they work so well? this is the future.

it has to do with the frequency.  any one who made these, should know at what frequency it oscillates based on coil turns and size.. Is that correct as an assumption?
even though i had seen the basics in the past  the reason for oscillation was never under scrutiny, until now.
i have plenty of spare time to continue

i want free energy, that will make everyone happy....

the real money comes by supply and demand. for devises, not the free energy itself.
lots of kits are out there. wanna see me change the world?
by introduction of the most simple battery circuits, solar panels wind, power stations that use ocean pressure instead of dams. and so on.
the culmination of the forum members pulling together to quickly do experiments for practical purposes...
