I'm unclear about the collectors. Is the wire treated with carbon and diamond dust? Would carbon fiber wrapping on the dust be just as good?

Go to Google or any other worthless censored search engine and search an uncensored search engine and search what you need to know from there. You may have to use a few of them before you find the data you want. You should be able to pick up all the released patents this way in about 2 hours. You can also find forums that have made inroads on the technology.
