My Spiral Cell Mockup

My Spiral Cell Mockup

This is my initial mockup.
The holes are smaller than they are supposed to be and I used 14 ga wire to get an idea of where I'm going with this.
I still have some spacing and configuration issues.
Keep in mind that the finished product will be 1/4" stainless steel tubing.

After some serious examination, the sweep of the rear section is way to steep.
Goes to show, making an inexpensive model saves $$$.
Back to the drawing board to change the spacing.

The reason I'm having trouble with spacing is because I'm using standard pipe dimensions to wrap 1/4" tubing with.
Inadvertently, I'm getting conical spirals because I have to space it to eliminate integrity issues. So of course I'm curious.
The 14 ga is just because it's easy to work with, when I'm satisfied with the spacing I will use some seriously heavy gauge solid copper for a better look. I will more than likely energize it at this point to see how it acts.
If I like what I see, I'll go for the 316 welded tubing.
I'm shooting for 3-4 of these cones in only 8"
This configuration will allow me to test a number of configurations.
1). Seperate Hydrogen and Oxygen, 1 pos or neg with 3 close neutrals.
2). Pos and Neg with 2 neutrals x 2 cells, HHO
3). 2 Pos and 2 Neg x 2 cells, HHO

I'd love to believe it would create a vortex, but the board, which represents Lexan(R) is a baffle so that's out.

OK, I believe I have spacing worked out now and should be able to create 4 conical spirals in 8".
All further postings of this project will be in the Projects area.
