I have an idea for the Z axis. Have a separate piece of aluminum that the   stepper motor mounts to, with rods mount this to the side of the top aluminum block of the Z axis, [bore holes to fit rods in both pieces], make the stepper motor aluminum block slide on the rods to adjust belt tension. What do you think?:D
Thanks Jeff. I like that idea. I'll see if that will fit. I may need to get a longer belt for that though cause the pulleys are 3.5" apart with a 13" belt.

I would like to know how many of you have built the reprap 3d printer. If you have or if you are in some stage of the build, or if you are thinking of building one, please post and share your builds and thoughts, thanks, Jeff.
It sits upon my dining table broken heartedly due to repeated power supply attempt failures.. HOWEVER! I just obtained a decommissioned Dell pe2850 with dual 1000W PSUs.. tonight the mad science..shall be delayed 2 days.. darn parental duties... :s

Hi Joe, ran across your post here and wondered if you ever got your 3d printer working with the 1000w power supply? :D

Hi Rav, sorry I had never returned an answer to this post you made here. I soooo want to build one of these tabletop routers, these look really cool, Matt has got a really nice setup as well. Thanks for the information here, Jeff.:D:P
