I want to see what happens to the discharge if I swap c1 and l2
around.
c1 tunes the resonance. if F is to low the inductive spike doesnt disappear complete, when the mosfet stops conducting
if c1 is small enough, and f high enough, there will be no inductive spike, only a radiant spike, when the mosfet starts conducting
