Here it is.

 My thought is it should compress the dielectric field???

 Needs a quick test....

 My thought was that you are seeing a response on one side only. This is due to the shorted bifilar on one side. what happens when you short both bifilar coils on the outside coils with a cap. Would it induce more current as it goes through the bifilar inner coil in pulsed mode?
