After the cell refused to produce gas at 8kv I set out to find out why my voltage isn't high enough. This helped a lot.

Video I made for Ed Mitchell who was commenting on my youtube video's. I have since extended this resonance right the way through the system from the pulse gen, through the optocoupler/tip3055, through the step up transformer into the chokes and cell. I know from the pickup coil that the voltage is in the chokes but I can't get it out. Only charges at a volt per minute at resonance. I'm thinking I need the spark gap back in series.

You can tell there is high voltage because we have video disturbance just pinging the chokes with low voltage.
