Part1 - This Thread has been Split up due to it's enormous file size.

On this page you will find a collection of coils i have built and tested.

Click on the photos for a larger view.

My first Rodin coil. (improperly wound) on a ferrite core

My first  Rodin coil. it is a wire form coil then a rodin coil wraped on top of that. I call it a HVTWRC.

This is my second star-ship coil. it is covered in 12 foot of hot glue stick. it is bifilr wound with a 10 degree offset between the 2 coils.

This is a lenz wire bi filer wound star ship coil. one wire is copper and the other is aluminum.

This is my design of a coil i call a Satellite coil still on the form.

Here it is off the form.

This is a question to Russ, or anyone else who has built the Rodin/Starship double pulse motor using a unmodified pc 12 v fan circuit.
I am after a diagram that details the wiring of this configuration posted of the youtube clip, I would greatly appreciate it.:D
Best regards

if you can post high res photos of the fan circuit board you are using i will show you how its connected...

i cant find the photos i sent out a wile back to others?

post front and back of circuit board.

remove the coils if you want...

hope i can help!

Hi Russ, thank you for getting back to me, you do a great job!
I have attached a close up pic of the PC fan
It is a NMB model 4715KL - 04W -B46 12v DC 0.90A
The three round drops of solder are the three points where the coil was attached, I didn't include a pic of the back as their is nothing special on the underside to see.
I know the black lead is negative, red is positive.
I'm not sure what the yellow is, either it is an earth or it controls the chip, can you please help me out.
Russ can you please let me know if this chip can be used as a controller with a starship coil, can you please indicate how I connect it all up.
Thank you for your assistance in advance.
Best regards[attachment=1723]

The yellow is a speed censor...  I think.  That or control.

ok sorry for the delay! if you get it going you should inter it in to the pulse motor build off! :)

one week left!
http://open-source-energy.org/?tid=575

here is what i got for you. this should work.

[attachment=1767]

please note that the coils must be the same resistance as the coils you took off or you will take a chance of burn up the fan PCB mosfets.

you can add resisters in series with the coils to add Ohms.  you can have over the amount of ohms the fan was but when you get less ohms things get to much current and can fail.

one thing i can say is that this fan had a thermal detector on it. ( the blue thing ) so it will work but will self regulate by the amount of ambient heat around that detector.

so if you apply more heat the faster the fan will try to turn...

let me know if this makes sense.

make sure the wires are conected the way i have them or the coil windings will cancel out and nothing will happen. hence the one start B1 and A2 are connected together. (opposite polarity)

thanks! ~Russ

PS. let me know how it goes! :)
PSS. sorry for my bad starship drawing! lol
