I seen this video come across my "new wonderful YouTube homepage" today.  It looks like something I want to try in the future.:)

It's an Open Source Sun Tracking / Heliostat and uses an Arduino for a microprocessor.   I can see mixing this with RepRap parts could be a good match.:D  I have some good uses for something like this, my back  yard is very shady and I really can't grow much grass back there.  This could be a good answer to that.:D

It goes off of calculations and algorithms so it could probably be done.  All that is way beyond me though, the guy who programmed it would know better. lol  A star (other than the sun:P) sounds very complex to calculate.  Another planet in our solar system might be easier?
