Hi guys,
happy Easter to everyone of you, nobody excluded, and happy Resurrection to all Christians!
What I would like to post here is way off topic (because it has nothing to do with energy, but it is related to freely circulating information): I would like to post a few chapters from the 1965 book "Our Vietnam nightmare" by Pulitzer prize winner Marguerite Higgins.
It's about the early period of the Vietnam war. The book is no longer in print, and there are even few used ones around (I got my used copy from Amazon). It tells a different story from the mainstream version (which you find, for example, on Wikipedia) of the Vietnam war. The author, journalist Marguerite Higgins, was working as a news reporter from Vietnam, so what she wrote is what she saw with her own eyes. She died not long after the book was published. Unfortunately, the book is still under copyright. I believe, however, that the publication of some chapters of the book (not the whole book) is allowed under the "fair use" rule of the copyright law, for commentary and criticism, even more so because the book is no longer available to the wide public.
So I am asking permission to post it here; if who's in charge of this forum allows me, I will post a few chapters, otherwise I won't publish anything.
So I'll be waiting for an answer... In the meantime, my thanks and greetings to you all!
