Any attempts at Contacting Steve Meyers?
« on September 19th, 2014, 01:45 PM »
Has there been any  attempt at contacting Steve Meyers from this forum?

First I would like to say that if we did have that ability someone like Russ or Max, even dou I dont think Max is in this forum should make contact. These are fellow reaserchers who are very close at replicating Stans work.

There is a audio recording of Steve Meyers from a internet radio made back in 2007.  Although there was some interesting history reveled behind that recording, none was related to specific Steve Meyer and Stan Meyer work back in the days. Steve Meyers was heavily involved in the design of the Electronic circuits for the dune buggy, what a great wealth of information we can achieve by making contact!

Given the circumstances sorounding the events that we have all reaserched, diplomacy and tactfullnes is very important when making contact with Steve Meyers. A good handfull of chosen Questions will reviel lots of info for a well prepared interview.

Any ideas on how to contact?

If we made contact. what questions would you ask?

Honestly I would not expect him to give you the answers.
He actually did 5 different radio interviews and shared some really good info on them I thought.
He was born in 1940 so he's 74 years old now. He said in his interviews he helped Stan with a few things but he was not a major contributor to the work that Stan did. His business Appli-Tech designed the control circuitry for Stan from what I know.
You might be able to contact him at his business if it's still around and if he's still working.

He used to have a website on hydrogen but its no longer online.

If I were to ask him questions I would ask him to specify what he did for Stan? Did he design the VIC's also?
I would also ask for him to share pictures or videos if he had them-or any documents that we might not have seen.
He has already explained how the system works, but he also explained there were a lot of problems in getting to to work.
His explanations in the interviews seem rather vague, but I think that's because there is a lot to the system and it's hard to explain in detail if you don't know your audience.

The entire evolution, if he knows it, would be very handy to lock on to Stan's train of thought. Since there was no internet through most of Stan's time period, he must have got a lot of ideas from books. If we could find out what those books and other resources were while having a good idea his thought process, we might get the same ideas that he did from those books.
