I have a lot of researching to do but thought this might be worth the consideration.
My thought on this is to completely skip the second stage of this water deionizing process to increase the hydrogen potential of water.

The questions I would need to answer is: Will this require the same amount of energy to extract the hydrogen through electrolysis? What would the acidity of the water do to the plates/electrodes? Is this procedure cost effective to maintain and operate? Where to purchase supplies, etc.
Any feedback, theories, criticism ( don't be afraid to hurt my feelings ) or thoughts are welcome.
