That was one of the most honest clips I've ever seen Nate, thanks for sharing.

As for 3D printing I can only come to think of the very obvious things, such as ABHA coil frames, various bobbins and enclosures of sort.
Also, how about offering custom made keyrings, credit card/cell phone holders, jars, boxes.

Good luck with your new life

In our lifes once we have to start looking for who we really are. identifying all remote control mechanisms built into work, society and so on is an ongoing learning curve but some day some of us get back to the person they really are. that is an important event.

firepinto, I´m sure you have started to find yourself and I wish you all the best for your next steps into a never ending journey of personal development.

Congratulations!

Well Nate, a thought provoking video.

Seeing you sitting there in that boat, I was kind of hoping you would pull a fish or two out of the water.  My brother now has my Pa's old 19 foot Gulfstream after he croaked.  I remember going fishing at least twice a month when I was kid.  Good times.  It's been said the worst day of fishing is still better than the best day at work.  That's how I remember it.  I sure hope you can catch a break, even if you don't catch a fish.  I see a lot of scum these days rising to the top while all the cream settles to the bottom.  That isn't normal and it's time for the good guys to win a few.  I think you use to run a tag line something like, "There's nothing more powerful than an idea whose time has come."  I have a gut feeling you're going to put things together this time and look back someday and wonder why you waited so long to make your move.

I should of brought some fishing poles, people were catching a lot of fish. lol This was the first test run of the boat in 7 years, so I was more concerned about getting stranded. lol I'm thinking of going out fishing today if it don't rain.

Things happen the way they do for a reason.  I have gained a lot of knowledge from my career in the security field, that will be useful later in life.  I've learned it is more important to know what I DON'T want to do, rather than what I do want to do.  There is a saying "If they can't do a good job in the field, promote them to manager".  Seems to be the case, I would of never gotten promoted out of the field because my value was too high doing the real work.  But oh well, one of the things I learned I don't want .. is some employer controlling every aspect of my life.  That can mean only one thing.  ;)

Well this little guy is another big change for me.  I've wanted a dog for many years but couldn't.  I'm still stuck at a name for him. :-/  I picked him up monday evening.  He misses his other little buddies. :(  He is really well behaved and has only had a couple small mistakes in the potty department.  Not much sleep happens at night around here now. lol He sleeps all day as you can see....

Cute as a button Nate!

Enjoy him.  Before you know it he will grow into those big warm feet in no time at all.

Maybe not a great choice, but I thought of a name for him:  Slic3r
Kind of goes along with other things that have changed your life.

For the potty errors...  Get a small Bissell carpet cleaner.  When he goofs, calmly but quickly get the cleaner out and clean-up the mess.  He won't like the sound of that machine and will learn fairly quick it happens whenever he makes a mistake.  Pretty soon he will be dragging you out of bed to let him out.

That's a good idea with the carpet cleaner.  The two times were probably my fault, the one time I was half sleeping in the chair until I heard niagra.  I'm on an hour routine of walking outside with him.  I have a bell mounted by the door (on a 3D printed hanger no less)  i ring each time we go out.  I'm hoping he figures it out and can go ring it when he needs to go.   He seems to realize we are going out when i ring it now.

Hmm Slic3r.. that could work. :)  It sure is better than Pronterface. :D
