Anyone ever heard of this?

Looks easy to replicate to validate if it's real or fake. I think it could be real and uses the same magnetic properties as in the PMH.

looks like the bulb is the power source!

Internal battery in bulb charges the capacitor .
the external leads of the bulb wired in series charges the capacitor  same time that it lights the bulb.

this is probably why the bulb is covered.

it accelerates and keeps running before the bulb enters the screen

anyone got 2 of these motors lying around and wants to try this?

very easy the capacitor was probably charged beforehand.

Sorry i dont easly fall for these claims. i would love for it to not be a scam.
but the videos lack a lot of information.
and there are no response to the questions posted.

in the video link  bellow shows a 220v cap fully charged.

to me this one looks a bit more convincing.. you can actually see the bulb ...but..

why is it that they dont go on for a considerable amount of time?  look at the run time..
if you look closley at the 2minute mark to the 220minute mark you will notice a decelaration on the motors. the pulley vibrates violenty and then slows down.
and you can see a video edit around that time...probably cliped that section....

It could be fake, like everybody yells under the video, I guess no one has tried it themselves. Honestly I think it is fake too, but because of its simplicity I give it the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps someone on this board has 2 of these motors lying around and feels like trying to replicate it.

The trick is discernment.  If it was really that easy, do you suppose we would even have an OSE forum?

If on the other hand, these videos give you an idea that you have never seen before, you build it and it shows signs of OU, then its time to post your original work and get some discussion going.
