"Small business technology leader at UPS, Daniel Remba, who I interviewed earlier, told me that the company is still monitoring the situation. He said further store rollouts will depend on whether the retail tests for 3D printing as-a-service meet UPS’s internal profit goals. “It will depend on when we have determined that this is a successful business for our franchise,” he says."
"Jones, who has owned 5 UPS Stores since 1996, gives the initiative a big thumbs up. According to him, 3D printing has easily outperformed other tests he has participated in with UPS across all metrics. Along with his co-owner and wife Lisa, Jones has been putting in long hours to make the new initiative a success. “As a small business, I just love profit centers that bring in business,” he laughs."
Looks like it's here to stay for good now. :D  :P
