"On December 3, the House of Representatives passed a bill banning the manufacture, possession, and sale of plastic guns."
Link to the Bill

"Supporters claim that we need this law to stop bad guys from smuggling guns onto planes. But guess what? Renewing a ban on plastic firearms will not stop criminals from making them or stealing them, any more than Chicago’s gun restrictions have been effective in stopping shootings there."

"Truth be told, ... Congress solved the problem of terrorists carrying weapons onto planes after 9/11 — not through additional gun bans, but by allowing pilots to use guns to defend themselves and their passengers."

It's real simple.  Laws are for the good guys, not for criminals, that's why they are criminals.  'nough said.

I didn't read the entire thing, but looks like since 1988, it's been that way.  Even one of the first 3d printed guns had a piece of metal embedded into it to comply.  Weather or not everyone does it...

Keep in mind the name of the 3D printed gun, the "Liberator", then think about how much a law means when it's time to use it.

They can keep trying to ban all they want, the laws of physics will always accelerate a projectile with some kind of thermo explosion.  Only if they crush everyone's creativity, will guns go away.

There will be a day when it don't matter if anyone one, good or bad, has any guns what so ever.  That is the day people should be prepared for.

I think the way I heard it is something like this:

When the time comes to bury your weapons, that's also the same time to dig them up.
