Some "odd" alternative energy

Manny things around us give out "energy" that no matter what you do do not change which can be converted to electricity. What about thinking of non conventional forms of energy which is original and not commonly known?

I assume some heard about energy from Pee or POOP. Imagine a battery powered motor home which used the toilet to power it.

Here is an odd original one. What about getting energy from your pulse? Wouldn't it be that you do not need more energy to operate it? Obviously not powerful enough to power something directly but only to store energy.

How about about stairs where each step is a 1 inch level to power gears for energy.

Car shocks replaced with gears which every time you hit a speed bump you get energy. Before companies made electric brakes with gears I knew that should have been done which took a while.

Fire places seems inefficient since the heat escapes to rise up. Why not have the fire place below ground level under the home as so that the heat disperses into many chambers to heat the floor then escape outside after being depleted of most of its heat.

Your laptop monitor gives off light at the from but if you take it apart and turn it on even the back of the monitor which is covered gives off light. A solar panel would help it if it was stuck on it without the extra glass on it. Even the laptop heat that it gives out would be good to get power out.

The drain of your sink to get a small turbine every time you use water. What about if you had the water drain into a second toilet tank to be used every time one flushes.

That's just some. I assume others have their own odd ideas.

LOL

Uhhh small magnet and coils under my keyboard keys..every push gives a small current to a battery.

Keys under my shoes, under the tires of my car, bike, in the road.

Hamsterwheels, fitnessclubs etc.

I like them. If they are done in shoes they can also absorb impact to help some people with joint issues. Some thing you suggested can be done by using a piezoelectric crystal to get power from them if done right. I saw online once how a shopping center got energy from the parking lot every time a car went over their plates.

Yes a fitness club could make a lot of energy which can help power a few homes I assume. Imagine a home device like that. lol "The power generator muscle machine" lol
A chair, table, or carpet that can use the weight that changed.

A shooting range wall to absorb bullets as energy on a horizontal turbine.

Obviously some ideas are far fetched but it's to help the imagination.
Instead of solar power outside what about inside your home to be near the light at a position that does not need light.

A stylish fan in front of a electric car grill. Hey the air will hit it the front of it anyway. Even those trucks how they have a flat surface is wasted space.

Getting energy from running water from the rain gutters to have a turbine.

Getting energy form a metal bar which expands and contracts when heated to be used with ovens, car engines, refrigerator doors, and other silly idea.

I don't know if anyone went to a science center but when I went a few years ago to see what it has it us usually useless stuff. Even they they tried to show how ears work they only showed one size ear to demonstrate how if you turn one ear one way the other goes the other way if attached. If did not explain much or show various examples. It was like looking at stone age technology. lol And when they did have thing that were good they removed them with lower grade examples as if they are saying that people are too stupid to understand and that they are too stupid to explain it step by step.

If one has a gym..

Then the members can reduce their fee by producing electricity on the machines.

The gym sells it back to the energy company, and so reduces their costs, and even gain extra profit if their big enough, the members fit enough and they keep the overproduction silent enough...:)

Apparently Vodafone has already released it's Power Pocket to be used on clothes for charging your cell phone, http://mashable.com/2013/06/13/power-pocket-charging/
I was thinking about that but didn't think the device they use can be big enough or flexible enough... unless they attached a flexible plate on the small device.
Which if you can do that then why not a seat with that technology since most people sit all day, or on a car engine or car roof since the temperature outside and inside is usually different since people love the AC or Heat on.

Well I am trying to see what other ideas people can come up with since one can not make an efficient device if they do not practice to think efficiency I feel. So I am just saying for people to put a bit of effort.

I think we will see all kinds of clothes in the future that uses not only differences in heat but also kinetic energy to charge cellphones, batteries, power MP3 players, ipods, built in LED lights etc etc.
It's not rocket science after all, it's just a matter of fashion and guts.
The one that first launches such a line of clothes will always have an edge over the others.
