Well Russ has a few projection screen tv's and used the parts for other projects,like the mirror for the 3d printer heated bed to print on.
So I had been looking for one a while now, finally scored one.
 Went to a friends house saw one sitting out by a mail box close to the street in the grass, must have been there a while cause the wood was swelled by the last rain. It was just waiting for me to pick it up and bring it home, so I did. :P:P
I plan on cutting the mirror for my 3d printers, save all the magnet wire, focusing lenses, ferrite cores and so on.

so the glass is it glass of plastic stretched?

i have seen both and that looks like plastic on a backer board?

i have so Manny of those lenses and CRT's its crazy! lol ill take a photo...

Well the mirror is glass but the lens is plastic.
