I can't quite clone myself yet, so I'll have to stick to smaller things.:D I was hoping to send my clone to work for me...

Haha!!   If you did, your clone would probably take and spend your check too.

Oh speaking of cloning.  I received my 10 pound jug of 0.028" steel shot today.  This stuff should work real well--passed the magnet test.  Definitely won't have problems using it in a mold (or pipe).  I think you could make pretty much any shape core you want now.  Still have to do a little more research into coating it.  I think black oxide will be the best method.  But if you don't intend to run it at real high frequencies, Eddy Currents shouldn't be a problem, meaning you wouldn't have to coat it all.
