Future technology for Solar Energy to be doubled at around 75% efficient
"Scientists at Stanford University have improved the efficiency of a revolutionary solar cell by around 100 times, but solar panels made with Lepcon or Lumeloid could turn 70 to 80 percent of the energy from sunlight they receive into electricity."
"Stanford’s new device captures both light and heat"

Well I think it's all talk but interesting that it uses heat as well.

Well, isn't that interesting.
If we see the scientists at Stanford university all the sudden proclaim "Sorry, our bad, we were wrong, it's impossible to improve what's already out there today" then we'll know that they're on to some really interesting solar tech.
