I tried one of those "Orbotrons" at a funpark years ago.  It was motorized with a joystick controller and you buckled into a racing seat.  My wife got pictures of me with my face all scrunched up.  It was a hoot.  If you got it going fast so you were rotating on two axises and then rapidly flipped 90 degrees to your rotation, you could darn near tip the machine over.  Spend more than 15 minutes on it and you couldn't walk straight for hours.  Would make really good exercise if you can hold your stomach down long enough to get a good workout.

Yeah! They are a blast. :D  :P

A bunch of years ago I went to a science museum that had one.  After my time was up... I kept getting back in line.  :D  :P
