Such a small motor putting out 100 kW?
Awesome.
Imagine 4 (even smaller) such motors, each powering 1 wheel on your car, giving a total of 100kW/135hp then.
That would really be interesting for anyone wanting to build an electric car.
What's missing is of course the batteries capable of storing hundreds of kwh's, that which doesn't weigh tons and takes up like 50%
of the total space of your car.

$2000 - $3000 each. Usable as motor and generator. Liquid cooled more expensive ($2500 - $3000).

The thing is, even the WarP9 DC motor is that expensive! Then definitely you can go with an AC motor and save the transmission! If the inverter isn't the problem I guess (the inverter is the motor controller at the same time, at least this is doable).

My request from AgniMotors is currently still pending (ultra high effiency axial DC motor). If this one were below $1000 I would go for this one -- still a lot of money - why not build 2 own ones? Probably not cheaper because of the material?
