I remember before my first MRI - they interrogated me a lot, particularly since I had worked at a steel fab shop. They would not even do the MRI (on my head) till they did an x-ray. ANY tiny pieces of steel or iron WOULD be pulled OUT of my body (!), they said. *Ouch!*:(
