 What I think would happen above the tower should look like this if we could see the plasma going to ground. The air in this case is the plasma and the water is our atmosphere.

 Another friend of mine shows how electron beams (plasma rings) can be bent or diverted as they stream by.

 Think of the bottom ring of the tower being a huge reflecting coil that could constrict the flow of plasma through it's orifice or stop it completely and let it flow away from the tower laterally.

 Remember when I stated we could use a reflector coil that was self terminated. Well what would happen to a return spark that tried to come back through the gap and was diverted into the coil then the coil was opened up and dumped to a capacitor or battery or hybrid cell?? Or even used in a blocking oscillator kind of way to another circuit...?

The original being the top down view and the modded one being from the side. This would make it that a positive stroke would go through it upwards one way and further upwards after the return stroke missing the electrode and discharging into the environment. That discharge could be collected and reused via a coil around the gap. Either 1 turn or many depending on how you want the output in voltage and current. Just remember that this is only the return stroke of the magnetic gap. The first stroke should be held in a capacitor or used in a self terminated way to constrict the first stroke.

 This would make the output only an exciting impulse in one direction only and should be rested for another period to recover the return stroke from the receiving electrode circuit bemf.

 I'll try to put this all together to see if it makes sense.

 So what do we do with the one way impulses?
 What would this look like?
 In my honest understanding what we can learn is that when the impulses exit the tower capacity it puffs the surrounding plasma and a curious thing happens.

 From the aspect of the toroidal bubble seeking a forward direction. Just like what happens in a TV picture tube or CRT. These are both physical and electronic versions of the same thing.

 Will these puffs be able to contain the plasma seeking ground like a hose and help contain the flow we seek? It does mean that there will be no fly zones above the tower... As the plasma density would be either higher or lower than the surrounding plasma. The density shift of the plasma to matter might have disorienting or effects that we are not aware of. So being mindful of that might help us to make it safer for all.

 Here is a diagram of a single impulse in a train already established. Like a snapshot.

 Pay attention to the bottom of the tower diagram and you will see little dots in the structure. That is the control coil and intensifier circuit to boost the potential value of the impulses to allow them to be higher then the ionosphere value. And yes it is a very high potential of around 360kv or so. Each gradient of voltage in our atmosphere has a layer like appearance. Like an onion. So to reach the upper ionosphere you would have to present to the plasma up there 360kv+ to get it to move down to the ground. Once you get it down to a certain level it will act like a vortex flow going to a drain or ground sink in this case. Remember we can manage this flow entirely by the strength of the rings of less dense plasma going upwards and the coil at the bottom of the tower.
 The flow will start to weaken if the Impulses are not kept up and the flow will stop due to lack of potential to keep the flow going to ground.
 Once the flow of plasma is going that means you should be able to draw as much current as the ionosphere has available and be able to attract more to our planet as it streams by. In effect strengthening the ionosphere in the process if carefully managed. The energy comes from the new plasma condensing around the planets atmosphere. Nothing will be taken from that and only what is extra that streams by our planet every single second of the day and when the Sun does get a little out of hand and energetically fires a shot at us we could divert most of that energy into other things like energy storage and just letting it go to the ground in a shifter way.. like releasing water from a hydroelectric dam over time.

 Just remember there are additional things that are gonna happen when you squeeze a plasma or magnetically pinch it.

 So it should be impulse, Pinch, relax and collect. Impulse, Pinch, relax and collect... etc...
The pinch is to create a higher excitation of the plasma going through the control coil and the intensified rush of plasma through that coil is entirely harvestable upto the limits of that coil. <-Super conductors or plasma conduits anyone? How about a superconductor capacitor anyone?

It seems to me that Tesla knew what he was doing and most could not have been more wrong about what he was doing and the Grandest of Scales he was planning for. Tesla was so fascinated by lightning. Plasma.
 He knew about the Sun being our Local source for it too. He knew that because of the plasma there was gravity as it moves to the sink the bodies of space provide. Seems matter is a displacement of the plasma background and it presents a pressure to the plasma. It's displaces it's normally pure environment and creates a pressure to the plasma. The plasma will always seek to fill that displacement and hence the movement of matter towards that displacement. The more displacement the thicker the plasma will condense around that displacement. It must be even. Meaning the exact amount of plasma displaced condenses around the displacement. Matter will allow some movement of the plasma internally but it provides a resistance to the movement of that plasma internally. Eventually the plasma will spill out in many ways including the magnetic and radiant discharges as well as volcanic and other energetic discharges we see like super storms and the likes. Soo much energy builds up now internally that it is getting discharged violently. Stripping some of that energy off and utilize it to our benefit would be the smartest thing to do right?
 We have the ability to do this. We have had the ability even before Tesla rediscovered it, Egypt... Instead of letting the buildup of this plasma create great discharges seeking ground we could be managing the level to benefit us as a people of the Earth and stop fighting ourselves for sources of energy or the control there of.
