no its not electrostatic.

its same as if you put tin foil over a crt, a Tv set, and tap the dc there. its a lot of power from a tv tube so be careful..

your collecting the electron beam as it hits the crt.

Thanks to you for sharing the video. Actually Troy Reed himself also develop this before but his version is look simple and quite efficient. Sorry for didn't observe very well for the 1st video, I though is based on the electrostatic charge. But I watch second time, now I already knew that is based on the principles of electromagnetic induction. But the second video has a small problem, have you tried to enhance your generator's efficiency by mathematical calculation before so it can archive the efficiency by maybe around 80 - 95 %? I don't know whether your dc and amp value already adjusted at which range because I can't see very clearly about what is the range of your multimeter. Currently, I am still research and developing the free energy device to generate for my house. But if my math was right, it can help to generate maybe two house.
