Take 150 volts DC down to 12 volts DC ??

I have taken a 6 inch plasma ball and extracted 150 DC volts off of its surface.  Its to long as to go into details.   I need a  circuit that will allow me to step down this voltage and regulate it so its output is 12 volts DC.    I don't wish to use a lot of power robbing resistors.  I see a lot of buck step down converters on the market but not one that will take 150 DC volts down to 12 DC volts.

All help appreciated.

I use this to step down to 24 volts.  It will accept nearly any input.  The term used is Universal Input (85 VAC to 264 VAC, 120 VDC to 370 VDC).  Surely there should be a 12 volt equivalent.

For the high frequency sources I use, I added a full wave bridge rectifier using hyperfast diodes.
