HHO Generator Build
We are having problems with our generator build. Maybe some one could help us out, we would greatly appreciate it. We are making gas, but not enough to bubble in a pail. Our YouTube video is at "forest7073" and is titled "hho gen 1st attempt"
With the amount of surface area we have, it should be putting out more. We tried the liquid electrolyte 1st, but we seem to be making more with just baking soda & water. Maybe the hydrogen dioxide would do better yet? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Gas-Needed |

Our YouTube video is at "forest7073" and is titled "hho gen 1st attempt" First thing I would check is for leaks in your system, use a little soapy water around the outside by the joints, look for bubbles. Another thing with that type of coil design, you have more electrical resistance in the cable at the bottom of the cell. That does seem like a lot of amps for little production. Probably should be monitoring temp of the water, the cables might be acting like a electric heater. You might want to think about a system with stainless tubes instead. Ideas are bullet proof. |

RE: HHO Generator Build
I agree with Nate, I think the design could be different, this in itself would give you better results, with my one cell tube I have better results than I see in your video. I am building a 9 tube cell, is taking a while though other projects got in the way.

RE: HHO Generator Build
Hello everyone:
as you can tell by my user name, our HHO project didn't go so well... But we did get a better result by switching to a baking soda and water catalyst.. When new parts come for the generator, Maybe some modifacations are needed... I'm new to the HHO.. Very excited about building a good producing generator...

Also to warn you baking soda may seem safe, but when it is used as an electrolyte it will produce Chlorine gas which is deadly. Using salts will also produce chlorine gas. I've also had a big boom in the past. A life lesson, build your saftey equipment first, and never contain large volumes of gas in your designs. I was lucky enough to have a (rather large) blow off valve in my design with out realizing it. Otherwise I would have probably been in really bad shape, instead of just being deaf and stunned checking myself for holes. Nate Ideas are bullet proof. |
