Dual Extruder RepRap Project
These are some of the custom parts I made to build my dual extruder RepRap Prusa variant. There are other parts used that were designed by other people. I will be compiling a complete list of the parts with links to them.
One thing for the geared axis drives I designed, they use the small gear from Greg's Wade's hinged extruder. So that would need to be downloaded off thingiverse.com. I will be organizing this top post more as time goes on. Nate Ideas are bullet proof.

RE: Dual Extruder RepRap Project
I added a new file to the list called Axis_pulley_4.12.12.c.zip. It is going to be for the new belt reduction axis drives. Still need to create brackets and stuff... Ideas are bullet proof.

I added an updated file called Axis_pulley_4.14.12d.zip. I adjusted the diameter of the large pulley to be a better fit with XL belt teeth. I'll leave the 4.12.12c version up, just incase the large pulley will fit T5 belts. I haven't got any T5 belting to test with. I learned it pays to make multible files while you work in Sketchup. I had this file corrupt on me twice already. That is why there are letter designations after each file date. Basically just restore points.![]() Nate Ideas are bullet proof.

RE: Dual Extruder RepRap Project
Starting to get the belt drive axis concept down pat. I'm sure I'll have tons of clearence issues to fix once I print and get a belt. The motor is adjustable for belt tension. I still have to build the other brace.Nate Ideas are bullet proof.

RE: Dual Extruder RepRap Project
I added the files for the latest Y axis belt drive. You will also need the Axis_pulley_4.14.12d files to print out the belt pulley. It has been working very nice on my prusa.

Thanks Jeff, I forgot to mention that the belt needed is a 12 inch outer circle, 60 tooth, 1/4" wide XL belt. Trade size is 120XL. I ordered this part # from McMasters 1679K24. http://www.mcmaster.com/#catalog/118/1060/=hejb7o Nate Ideas are bullet proof.
